Welcoming Winter

Whale Watching 11

Winter here on the Gold Coast might bring the chilly morning air but with it comes beautiful clear skies and pristine blue water.

Guests from the south imitate the whales and migrate north to escape the cold weather.

It is always fun catching up with all the return guests and discovering the changes since the winter before.

Don't think that just because winter mornings are better spent in bed that there isn't plenty of things to get you up and moving.

On the Gold Coast, this is the PERFECT time of year for doing activities such as whale watching and hiking.

The beautiful weather and lower temperatures make for perfect conditions to explore the various walks and waterfalls of the beautiful hinterland.

From Lamington to Springbrook National Park there are walks that cater for all fitness levels and even 1-2 hour walks which include walking under waterfalls and through large rock formations.

After you've stretched your legs treat yourself to a relax on a lunchtime river cruise or a Whale watching adventure out on the ocean!

The whale watching tours offer a range of different departures and at this time of year it is nearly guaranteed you will sight a whale!

See our wonderful reception staff for details about all the necessary information!

See you soon for your winter getaway!
