August Activities at Main Beach

Main Beach Guests will be kept busy again this month with in park activities.

Each week we will have our regular activities of Tuesday Craft Mornings and Wednesday Walking Activities - Walk In to register Steps walked in the Walk Around QLD Challenge and the weekly Park Walking Group.

In addition we will host the following major activities:

• Pancake Breakfasts 9th and 23rd August
• Major Fundraisers

Australia's Biggest Morning Tea Fundraiser - 6th August (Cancer Council)

World's Greatest Grill - 16th August (Leukaemia Foundation)

• 2010 Winter Guest Recipe Book Compilation and Distribution
• Recipe Tasting Lunch - 13th August
• Bus Trip - Brisbane River Cruise and South Bank - 19th August
• Bingo - 4th and 20th August
• Birthdday Morning Tea - 26th August
• Walk Around Queensland - Final Celebration - Date TBA

Park Managers Kim and Paul would like to thank guests for a great winter so far, we  are looking forward to finishing off the winter period with some great events over the coming weeks.  For the guests who have already moved on we wish you happy and safe travels as you return home or continue your travels, we thank you for visiting us and hope to see you again soon - for those still with us or yet to arrive we hope you enjoy the remainder of the winter with us in particular the beautiful weather we are experiencing and the fun activities we have planned.
