Kirra Beach

Sunday afternoon, as most of the park’s guests were sitting back enjoying the remainder of the summer’s afternoon, a family of ducklings were making there way across one of Kirra’s largest roads. These little fellas stopped 3 lanes of traffic; creating chaos in the process.

As our Christmas Guests begin to pack up and depart home in time for school to return, the team at Kirra Beach are extremely happy to have had such an excellent two months! Along with the guests departing, we also have had the last set of craft activities for the kids. On the 15^th of January we all met in the Rec Room to celebrate Make a Sunhat Day – where everybody got to make their very own personalised hats (see Colin our resident manager!

It all started with the kids as Kirra writing letters to Santa Claus last Wednesday. They decorated their letters with a whole heap of glue, lots and lots of glitter and a whole heap of Christmas decorations and finished them with a special christmas stamp to make sure the letters went all the way to the North Pole! The kids had such a good time and so did some of the parents!

If you ask 10 guests what’s different this Christmas at Kirra Beach, you'll probably get 7 to 8 different answers. With 2010 coming to end, the year brought quite a few changes to Kirra; New resident managers and team members, a new private beach, the camping grounds have been re-landscaped, our beautiful pool re-tiled, and the list goes on!
