Now that the new year is in full swing, we have plenty of events to look forward to on our beautiful Gold Coast. Click on the image for for more details.

If you stayed at the Main Beach Tourist Park, or any other Caravanning Queensland member park since early last year and have not posted off your entry in Caravanning Queenlsand's "Queensland is open for business and ready to welcome you" competition you only have a couple of days to enter.  ENTRIES CLOSE 31ST JANUARY 2012.

Even though the Australia Day Public Holiday is on a Thursday....resulting in no long weekend why not consider taking Friday off and having a 4 day long weekend.

Main Beach Tourist Park has a fantastic special if you would like to make a long weekend out of the Australia Day public holiday.   We are offering powered sites at less than $100 for a 3 night stay.  Stay must be minimum of 3 nights between 25th and 30th January.

We have had many different in park activities this school holidays...We have tried to capture some of the fun in our photo collage....

Over the school holidays we have an action packed School Holiday Activity Program.

Each week we will have an exciting and constantly changing program of activities.

Back by popular demand will be many of the old favourites such as: FREE Pancake Breakfasts, Craft Activities, Movies Under the Stars, Bingo etc.

We are confident the new activities introduced this year will be very popular such as Mini Master Chef where we will be making delicious creations such as chocolate crackles, apricot balls, smiley face biscuits etc.

Main Beach Tourist Park has just installed a Brand New Outdoor Table Tennis table for guests enjoyment. 

The table will be permanently set up outside next to our South Camp Kitchen for guests enjoyment.

We are looking forward to seeing our Xmas Guests who start checking in this week enjoying this new addition to our in park acitivities.

Ever thought of going camping for Schoolies.   That is exactly what a number of guests are doing this year and have been doing for the last couple of years.

The park is located only 3km north of Surfers and a free bus operates nightly taking guests down to the Schoolies Hub for organised schoolies activities.

Attention Guests planning on holidaying on the Gold Coast before the 30 June 2012.  

The VIP pass which has been offered over the past couple of months is only available to purchase up to 31st October  (only another 4 days) after which time the Super Pass, Escape Pass and Summer Pass will be the only passes available (see below).

We had a full house for the Gold Coast Motor Race last weekend and based on Guest Feedback everyone had an awesome time at the Rock and Race Event.

Being within hearing distance of the track it is always great each year to hear the start of racing on Friday morning with the distintive noise of the awesome V8's.

Whilst most of our guests were only here for the weekend we still have a few guests who take adantage of the fantastic weather in October to enjoy a longer break with us.

There has been a steady stream of our excited Gold Coast 600 guests arriving over the last couple of days.   The park is located just 500 metres from the entrance to the track and is a very convenient locations for our guests being only a short walk from the Gold Coast 600 Sounds venue at the Southport Broadwater Parklands.

Guests checking in have been very excited to see the new race format is getting great support and that they will be in a park full of diehard race fans, volunteers and marshals.
