Park Managers Donna and Clarrie Harrison will be representing Gold Coast Tourist Parks this weekend at the Toowoomba Caravan and Camping Show. Along with plenty of information on all seven of our parks, Donna and Clarrie will be offering attendees unbeatable deals and specials.

After a fairly bleek week with the weather it was good to see the sun out shining again just in time for our Pancake Breakfast this week.   After having to postpone a few events due to the weather this week including our legendary Barefoot Bowls the guests were well and truly ready to sit back and relax in the beautiful Gold Coast Sunshine.   What a difference 24 hours can make with the weather, a few guests have even been heard to say "gees isn't it hot and muggy" - perfect Queensland weather we say.

Each month during Winter Main Beach has a monthly Birthday Morning Tea with cake and coffee to celebrate everyone who has had a birthday during the month.

It is a great chance for guests to come together in a relaxed environment with friends (old and new) to celebrate each others Birthday's.

Main Beach guests were treated to beautiful weather for this year's Xmas in July Lunch.

125 guests dined on a fabulous roast dinner and downed a few glasses of wine and beer whilst being entertained by the fabulous "Abbie".

A visit by santa was a highlight with many guests taking up the opportunity to get a photo with the big man himself.  Some even got to sit on Santa's lap.

Particiapants in the Main Beach Walk Around Queensland Challenge were treated to a celebration lunch this week to celebrate their awesome effort of walking around QLD in 6 weeks.   A total of 45 guests participated at one point or another during the 6 week challenge.

Guests enjoyed a lunch of tasty subs and cookies from the Main Beach Subway.  

Over lunch guests chatted and were updated on some of the vital stats on our first lap of Queensland.

It was very interesting to note some of the key stats:

Main Beach guests were treated to a great night out this week when Park Manager Paul escorted them to the Australian Outback Spectacular.   Guests commented that it was one of the greatest shows they have ever seen.

The trip was very popular with 45 guests enjoying a great night, many relished the chance to have a few drinks and enjoyed being chauffered around by Paul.

Bingo is held every couple of weeks at Main Beach and is a hit with guests.

With heaps of chocolates, biscuits and various nic nacs for prizes its eyes down for a good time. 

There are many laughs during the bingo session with Kim or Paul involving the audience whilst they call the numbers and of course we all have a big laugh with some of the gaffs which occur of which we will elaborate on some but will protect the identity of those involved - but we all know the culprits:

Main Beach Guests are getting ready for our Annual Xmas in July Luncheon this Friday 23rd July.

Our weekly craft morning adopted a Xmas theme this week with guests ditching the crochet needles etc in favour of making Xmas Decorations for their tables.

Congratualations Main Beach Walkers!!!!!

Main Beach walkers this week completed their first lap of Queensland with their Walk Around Queensland Challenge.

Over 6 weeks 47 participants have walked over 9 million steps which equates to over 7,500km.

Walkers will be treated to a congratulatory Subway Lunch and Postcard to celebrate the milestone.
