No Smoking Rules

From 1 May 2026, a selection of our parks will be completely smoke‑free and vape‑free. Smoking and vaping aren’t permitted anywhere within the park grounds, including outdoor areas, pathways, accommodation and shared spaces.

This change is based on guest feedback and helps us create a clean, healthy and enjoyable environment for everyone by reducing exposure to smoking, vaping and second‑hand smoke.

Many of our parks are located on, or directly opposite, waterways, beaches, parklands and playgrounds, so these rules also help protect the natural areas that surround our parks.

What parks does the non-smoking rules apply to?

The non-smoking rules apply to:

  • Main Beach Tourist Park (effective 19 December 2025)
  • Ocean Beach Tourist Park
  • Burleigh Beach Tourist Park

I'm a smoker – can I still stay at the park?

Absolutely. Smokers are welcome to stay with us.

If you’d like to smoke or vape during your stay, you’ll just need to leave the park grounds before lighting up.

What smoking and vaping products are not allowed?

  • tobacco products (including cigarettes and cigars)

  • cannabis products (including medicinal cannabis)
  • loose smoking blends
  • personal vaporisers such as:

    • e-cigars
    • vape pens
  • e-liquids and e-cigarette parts.

Please note that smoking or vaping medicinal cannabis is prohibited within all Gold Coast Tourist Parks, including those parks that haven't banned smoking and vaping.

Is there a designated smoking or vaping area in the park?

You’ll need to exit the park before smoking or vaping.

Booking Guidelines

Why did the booking guidelines change?

These changes have been implemented based on guest feedback and to support our goal that our parks are for everyone to experience and enjoy.

Bookings will now open at the same time for everyone and will be taken on a first come, first served basis. This will give everyone a fair shot at securing their dream holiday!

Does this apply to all Gold Coast Tourist Parks?

How will this impact my existing booking?

All existing bookings will be honoured. We look forward to welcoming you back!

Can I make a booking a year in advance?

Yes. Based on our monthly booking window, reservations will be taken on a first come, first served basis. Bookings can be made online or direct as follows:

If you are interested in staying during school holidays, long weekends, or special events, these dates may book out earlier so we recommend that you book during the initial booking window.

What if I am unable to secure a booking for my preferred dates?

If your preferred dates are unavailable, consider alternative dates or check availability at one of our other tourist parks.
