The September school holidays are almost here, and there’s no better place to enjoy a spring getaway than Broadwater Tourist Park!

Queensland’s spring school holidays run from Saturday 19 September to Monday 5 October 2026, giving families plenty of time to escape to the Gold Coast, soak up the warmer weather and enjoy everything the Broadwater has to offer.

There’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained without even leaving the park!

Throughout the September school holidays, we’ll have a fun-filled school holiday activity program with a mix of activities and entertainment designed to bring guests together, keep the kids busy and add a little extra fun to your stay.

The Gold Coast Flathead Classic Is Right on Our Doorstep!

Calling all fishing families!

One of the Gold Coast’s biggest fishing events, the Gold Coast Flathead Classic, returns from Tuesday 29 September to Friday 2 October 2026 – and Broadwater Tourist Park is perfectly positioned to enjoy all the action.

The event hub will be located at the Northern Pavilion at Broadwater Parklands, just moments from the park. Registration and the official event welcome take place on Tuesday 29 September, followed by three huge days of fishing from Wednesday 30 September to Friday 2 October.

The Flathead Classic attracts anglers from far and wide to compete across the Gold Coast Broadwater, creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout the week with nightly presentations, prize giveaways and plenty of excitement surrounding the competition.

Whether you’re competing, supporting family and friends, or simply love fishing and want to soak up the atmosphere, Broadwater Tourist Park puts you right near the action.

With the beautiful Broadwater directly in front of the park and our onsite boat ramp, Broadwater Tourist Park is also an ideal base for boating and fishing enthusiasts looking to make the most of their Gold Coast getaway.

Our Family Play Area gives little ones their own dedicated space to play, explore and enjoy some quieter time during their stay.

With a selection of toys and activities available for our younger guests, it’s a great option between all the excitement of your Gold Coast holiday or when you’re simply looking for a relaxed indoor activity.
