Winter has well and truly settled in at Main Beach Tourist Park, and we’re loving every moment of it. There’s a crispness in the air, sunny days that feel just right, and a relaxed rhythm around the park that makes this season something special on the Gold Coast.

A warm welcome back to all our Main Beach Sunseekers who missed out last year while we were closed — it’s wonderful to see familiar faces returning and the park coming back to life with your energy. The sense of community around the park has been fantastic, with guests settling in, reconnecting, and enjoying everything that makes Main Beach Tourist Park such a unique coastal getaway.

Our activity calendar is in full swing. Aqua aerobics is now underway for those keen to stay active in a fun low impact way. Bingo has kicked off every Tuesday, bringing plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and a great excuse to gather with neighbours. Our fortnightly Friday crafting sessions are also proving a hit, giving guests the chance to get creative, unwind, and connect with others in a relaxed setting.

The weather has been absolutely perfect — clear skies, gentle breezes, and warm sunshine — making it an ideal time to explore everything the Gold Coast has to offer right on our doorstep.

We’re also proud to share that we were finalists in the QPAQ Awards 2026 for Team of the Year and Refurbishment. While we didn’t take home the win, being recognised among such strong contenders is something we’re incredibly proud of, and we’re already looking forward to what next year brings.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce Christmas in July celebrations on Thursday 28th July at the Southport Surf Club. It’s set to be a wonderful afternoon of festive cheer, great food, and community spirit — a perfect winter highlight for everyone staying with us.

Winter at Main Beach Tourist Park is all about connection, comfort, and enjoying the best of the season together. We look forward to seeing you around the park soon.
